Welcome to the World of Sinner’s Gin. Award-winning gin, crafted in Hell on Earth

Sinner’s Gin

It’s a “Fuck you” to the establishment. It’s shots on a Friday night. It’s smashing glasses, kicking bins, and flipping off strangers. It’s doing the things people tell you not to fucking do.

Here’s our homage to the Original Sin. The creation of two old friends making an old crossroads pact with the devil for an otherworldly gin recipe that you won’t find anywhere else. Spawned over the course of three years, devouring the souls of countless concepts before it, this gin rebels against the world as it stands. It’s the essence of the 7 deadly sins. Bottled.

The recipe of this premium and hellish gin, with 11 botanicals ranging from rhubarb and ginger to grains of paradise, offers a unique palate-pleasing experience that you will not find anywhere else. But this was never just about the liquid in the bottle.

Life is short. Enjoy it while it lasts and relish in the brief moment given to you.

P.S. Try and drink responsibly.

The bottle design

The idea behind the bottle was to craft a striking yet polarising image to stir the passions of anybody casting a lazy eye over the bar selection.

Every gin has a unique flavour profile and story to tell. But no one cares to know if they don’t pick your bottle off the shelf. When a customer quickly scans the bar in response to being asked “Do you have any preference on the gin?”, they look for two things. Either they want the safety of what they know, or they want something that calls to them. To feel something that drags them out of their daily drudgery and boredom.

Sinner’s was purposefully developed with the public and bars in mind. We wanted to channel our love of rock and metal into a bottle of gin, and unlike every other alcohol brand crossing their fingers to be in the next supermarket sweep, we want to ensure those same buyers steer well clear of us.

The figure on the front of the bottle is Baphomet, drinking from their own goblet of Sinner’s. The design pays significant tribute to the 19th-century occult depiction by Éliphas Lévi, invoking that feeling of indulgence, excess, and sin.

The striking bottle design was a masterful labour of love by Leeds-based tattoo guru Simon Erl. Simon is an incredibly talented artist, and we cannot recommend his entire back-catalogue of work highly enough.

Roots, Bloody Roots.

One small nuance we added to the design was a standalone triangle by the devil’s side. This was in tribute to our origins within the rhubarb triangle of West Yorkshire. In addition, 3 of the 8 botanicals used in Sinner’s hearkens back to our heritage and home. It was between that, or plaster the Yorkshire Rose across the bottle.

The taste

What does Sinner’s Gin taste like? Like desire. Like that first kiss on the lips of a forbidden love. Like those moments you can’t take back. When you succumb to your senses over staying sensible. For Sinner’s, this translates to a sumptuous feel in the mouth. Decadence. An original band of evolving flavours with a smooth finish and devilish linger.

Simply put, it’s fucking good.

Our delectable taste combines the intense juniper kick of any self-respecting London Dry Gin with several carefully selected botanicals that deliver a truly hedonistic flavour profile. We’re delighted to call it our own.

The initial rush of sweetness on the tongue hails from the rhubarb and orange peel used, which gives way to juniper and the subtle herby, earthy notes of angelica root. This amalgamates seductively to stimulate the senses, before a gentle caress of ginger and the peppery brilliance of the grains of paradise linger on the palate long after the gin is gone, and the sin committed.
